To move the taskbar to the top of the screen in Windows 11, follow these steps:
Step 1: Press the Windows + R shortcut keys to open the Run dialog.
Step 2: Type regedit and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
Step 3: Navigate to the key: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerStuckRects3
Step 4: In the right panel of the StuckRects3 entry, double-click Settings to edit it.
Step 5: In the 00000008 line, double-click the value 03 in the FE column.
Step 6: Press the Delete key on the keyboard to remove this value and enter the value 01.
Step 7: Click OK and restart your computer to apply the changes. Then, you will see the taskbar at the top of the screen.
If you want to move the Taskbar back to the bottom of the screen, simply change the value '01' to '03' in HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerStuckRects3.
- The value 03 means the taskbar is at the bottom of the screen.
- The value 01 means the taskbar is at the top of the screen.
