Once Bandicut is successfully installed, open the software on your computer and follow the following steps sequentially:
Step 1: Open the Bandicut software, select the Cut button on the Home interface.
Step 2: Navigate to the directory containing the video you want to cut. Select the desired video and press Open.
Step 3: On the video timeline, right-click at the position where you want to start the cut. Then click on the square bracket open icon below to mark the setting.
Step 4: Similar to step 3, click on a position on the video timeline to select the end point of the cut, then click on the square bracket close icon.
Next, click on the Start button.
Tip You can utilize the clock tool to select the cutting time more accurately.
Step 5: A customization window appears, users can choose between 2 video cutting modes:
- High-Speed mode : High-speed video cutting mode, retains the original format.
- Encoding Mode : Allows video format editing but slower cutting.
After selecting the cutting mode, click on the Start button for Bandicut to perform the video cutting process.
In this example, Mytour chooses the High-Speed mode .
The speed of video cutting, whether fast or slow, largely depends on the size of the video you need. After successfully cutting the video, Bandicut will display a notification as illustrated below. At this point, you can click on Play to review or Upload to quickly share on YouTube or Vimeo.
