Given the current rapid spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, on March 9, the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Communications launched the health declaration service on the NCOVI app (or nCoV) and Vietnam Health Declaration to support health declaration, enhancing epidemic prevention and control efforts.
The Vietnam Health Declaration app is for passengers and individuals entering Vietnam. Meanwhile, the NCOVI app primarily focuses on nationwide health declaration for residents living and working in Vietnam.
Residents declare their health status by downloading the NCOVI app using the provided links below.

Guidelines for Nationwide Health Declaration on the NCOVI App
Step 1: Open the NCOVI app that you've just downloaded and installed on your device.
Step 2: Upon first login, the app will prompt users to input complete and accurate Personal Information, especially those marked with *, including:
+ Full name
+ Date of birth
+ Gender
+ Current address
+ Phone number
After entering all the information, tick the box 'I certify that the information provided is true' and then press the Verify OPT button.
Step 3: An OPT code will be sent via SMS to your phone within 2 minutes. You enter the verification code into the information box and press Confirm.
On the health declaration screen of the NCOVI app, a window for declaring Risk Factor Information will appear. After answering Yes or No, press the Declare button to complete.
Step 4: On your first access to the NCOVI health declaration app, you'll be prompted to grant permission to use the location feature. Choose Yes in the notification popup to agree.
On the main workspace window of the app, select the Home tab at the bottom of the screen, then click on the Declare Health for Everyone button.
Step 5: On the Health Declaration Information for Everyone screen, first, you need to enter your personal information into the health declaration form on the NCOVI app. Items marked with * are mandatory.
After completing the personal information, select Continue.
Step 6: The system will navigate you to the Disease Survey screen. Here, you'll also answer the questions on the health declaration form in the NCOVI app. Then, tick the box 'I certify that the information provided is true'. Press Send Declaration Information to complete.

Update: Currently, many people are downloading and installing NCOVI, but when verifying with the phone number, they do not receive the OTP code. In cases where the OTP code is received and entered, upon confirmation, a white screen appears and nothing can be done further.
