How to Delete Zalo Profile Picture on Android, iPhone
The first thing to ensure smooth and accurate operations is to upgrade the Zalo app on your device. If not done yet, install or update Zalo to the latest version using the link provided.
Method 1: Change Zalo Profile Picture to a Different Image
If you simply don't want others to see your current profile picture, just replace it with a different image. The process of changing Zalo avatar on both Android and iPhone is straightforward and quite similar.
Step 1: Whether you are using an Android phone or iPhone, you need to open the Zalo app on your device;
Step 2: Tap on the Add icon on the toolbar at the bottom of the screen;
Step 3: Click on your Profile Picture to go to your Personal Page;
Step 4: Continue to tap on Profile Picture on Personal Page , a dropdown menu will appear, choose Take a new photo or Choose from existing photos on your device.
Step 5: Now you can edit the new profile picture or press Done to finish.
Method 2: Restricting strangers from viewing your information, profile picture
With this method, you secure your personal information by not allowing strangers to view your profile picture. Friends and close connections you've added can still see your profile picture as usual.
Step 1: Similar to method 1, access the app and tap on Add on the toolbar. However, in the next step, press Settings with a gear icon;
Step 2: In the Settings window, press Privacy ;
Step 3: A list of options appears, find the item Allow strangers to view photos and slide the slider to the left to turn it off;
