Access your photo in Photoshop. You can either navigate to File > Open within Photoshop, or you can right-click the file in your file browser and select Open with > Photoshop.
Choose the Ruler Tool. If the option isn't visible in your Tools menu, click and hold the Eyedropper Tool.
Click and drag from the starting to the ending point of your measurement. The ruler will appear between the two points you've selected. To maintain 45-degree increments, hold down the ⇧ Shift key while dragging the ruler.
- If you wish to introduce another measurement angle, press Alt (Windows) or ⌥ Option (Mac) and drag your cursor to the other end point. If you've already released the mouse button from the last end-point, you can double-click the line to pick it up again.
