Are you looking to remove Bing wallpaper or the landscape art that appears when you boot up your computer? This guide will show you how to turn off Bing Wallpaper and Windows Spotlight, which automatically set your desktop background to landscape photos.

Open Control Panel, select Bing Wallpaper, then click Uninstall. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the uninstallation. Finally, restart your computer. Manage Windows Spotlight in Settings > Personalization > Lock Screen > Background. Choose Picture or Slideshow.
Steps
Removing the Bing Wallpaper Application
Access Control Panel. This can be done through the Start Menu or a quick search.
- Type 'Control Panel' into the taskbar's search box. If it's hidden, simply click the magnifying glass icon.
- Locate and launch the Control Panel app from the search results, then select 'Programs' and 'Programs and Features' to manage installed software.
Choose Bing Wallpaper. Once selected, additional options will appear.
Click Uninstall. This option is located above the list of programs, next to 'Organize.' Clicking it initiates the uninstallation process for Bing Wallpaper.
Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall Bing Wallpapers. Select Yes twice when prompted, then allow the application to complete the uninstallation process.

Access Settings. You can do so by hitting the Windows key, then selecting the gear icon in the Start Menu, or by pressing Win + I.
- Adjusting this setting won't impact your primary display's background.
Navigate to Personalization. Look for it next to icons resembling a desktop and a paintbrush.
Access Lock Screen. Find it within the left-hand menu of your screen.
Choose from the drop-down menu under 'Background' either Picture or Slideshow. This will deactivate the dynamic wallpaper feature upon system restart, necessitating a manual selection of picture or slideshow instead.
