1. How to Disable Google Assistant on iPhone
On iPhones, the mechanism differs from Android, and users cannot intervene deeply into their systems, so disabling Google Assistant is somewhat different or simply put, sometimes you'll find it really straightforward but sometimes it's cumbersome.
To have Google Assistant, we only have one simplest option which is to uninstall it by holding onto the app for 3 - 4 seconds until the X button appears. Tap on it to uninstall the Google Assistant app. However, you might find it inconvenient because if you use it, you'll have to reinstall this app from the App Store.
2. How to Disable Google Assistant on Android
Unlike on iPhone or iOS devices, disabling Google Assistant on Android doesn't require you to uninstall the app. Instead, we can simply turn off this service, something that Android devices can completely do because they allow access permissions.
Step 1: To disable Google Assistant, you first need to open this app, so tap on the Google app you installed earlier.
Step 2: Here's the Google Assistant interface, where you just need to tap on the avatar icon of your own account to display the menu bar.
Step 3: A menu pops up, just tap on settings to proceed with the setup, which will contain a section to help you manage and disable Google Assistant.
Step 4: Move to assistant section and scroll down to choose phone at the bottom.
Step 5: Within this section, you just need to turn off Google assistant to disable Google Assistant.
