Google Assistant in Vietnam hasn't been very useful for most users as its Vietnamese language recognition isn't perfect yet. Additionally, many phones now automatically activate the Google virtual assistant when the power button is pressed, causing inconvenience for many. To resolve this issue, simply turn off the Google virtual assistant on your phone. You can follow some simple instructions below:
Step 1: Open the Settings app on your Android phone.
Step 2: In the phone settings, scroll down to the bottom to find the Google section (1). Then, navigate to the Account services (2) section to see a list of Google utilities integrated into your Android phone.
Step 3: Google Assistant, OK Google is a feature related to Search, Assistant, and Voice, so you should select it to view the extended settings inside.
Step 4: Continue to select Google Assistant to see all the options.
Step 5: In the Assistant settings window, select General settings to manage the OK Google virtual assistant on your phone.
Step 6: To temporarily stop the OK Google service, Google Assistant, you simply need to turn off the Google Assistant feature.
When you disable the Google Assistant feature, the system will automatically turn off the 'OK Google' feature, meaning that when you say OK Google, the virtual assistant won't activate. However, you can still use the Google Assistant by manually opening the Google Assistant app on your phone.
Step 7: You have now successfully disabled the Google virtual assistant feature on your Android phone. To re-enable it, you just need to repeat the steps above.
