1. How to Turn Off Password Monitoring on iPhone
Since the release of iOS 14, Apple has introduced the Password Monitoring feature to notify users when their passwords are compromised.
Password Monitoring on Safari
When the Keychain feature in Settings - iCloud is activated, iPhone automatically fills in passwords for apps. If a password is compromised, the browser immediately displays a prompt:
“This password has appeared in a data leak, which puts this account at high risk of compromise. You should change your password immediately. iPhone can create a strong password for you. Would you like to change your password for [site name]?”
If you tap on the Change Password on Website button, Safari will immediately take you to the Password section on your iPhone. Here, users can easily change their passwords or use the strong password suggested by iCloud Keychain.

Next, users simply access the Security Recommendations section. If an app or service password is too weak, iPhone will automatically display recommendations and prompt you to change the password. Users can then click on the Change Password on Website option to change the password immediately.

Disable Password Monitoring Feature
Safari and iCloud Keychain regularly monitor your passwords to provide alerts if any are compromised. If you prefer not to share information with Apple, you can disable the password monitoring feature in Settings - Passwords, then turn off the Detect Compromised Passwords option.
