Share Experiences is one of the features in Project Rome. Before the release of the Windows 10 Creators Update, this feature was known as Cross-Device Experiences.
The concept behind Project Rome is quite simple; you continuously switch between devices throughout a day, and not all of these devices are Windows 10 devices. Your apps, much like your data, are not confined to a single device.
By utilizing Project Rome, developers can connect the apps and services of their application across devices and platforms, providing users with a consistent experience regardless of the device they are using.
On Windows 10, the Share Experiences feature is enabled by default. However, if this feature is not working, it may have been disabled on your system.
There are various features on Windows that might be disabled, rendering them unusable. An example is Windows Defender being disabled. Configuring Shared Experiences on Windows 10
Follow the steps below to quickly enable, disable, and customize Shared Experiences settings on Windows 10:
Step 1: Open the Settings.
Step 2: In the Settings window, locate and click on System.
Step 3: Click on Shared experiences.
Step 4: Toggle the Share across devices option using the switch to turn it ON or OFF.

If you activate this feature, note that there's a drag-and-drop menu containing options to share or receive from devices connected to your Microsoft account, or you can choose to use this experience with any nearby device.
Currently, only a few apps support Project Rome, as developers need to integrate this feature into their services.
However, it's anticipated that this feature will change with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, providing developers with more reasons to implement it, such as with Timeline, which will boost user engagement.
