In office tasks, Word files are indispensable documents, representing the most prevalent text format today. For those managing multiple Word files, displaying page numbers within a folder is crucial.

Microsoft Word is text editing software developed by Microsoft, aimed at professional document creators. A Word file is divided into numerous pages based on characters and images. Grasping the number of Word files is vital, especially for printing purposes. When printing a Word file, the page count is crucial for determining the necessary sheets of paper, and users can trim if needed. Typically, many people choose to open each file individually to check the page count through the toolbar. However, this method is time-consuming, especially when dealing with a large volume of Word files, and it can lead to confusion if the files are duplicates. To address this issue, you can choose to display Word page numbers directly within the folder for quick control.
Step 1: Move all the Word files you are working on to a completely new folder for easy monitoring.
Step 2: On the storage directory interface, select the View (1) option and choose Details (2) to switch the display mode to show comprehensive information.

Step 3: Next, Right-click on the Name item (or Date/Type/Size/Tag…) (1) and choose More… to explore additional display options.

Step 4: When the system's Choose Details window appears, scroll down to find the Pages (1) item and press OK (2) to complete the process.
In the Choose Details window, mark the corresponding checkbox for the information you want to display. However, for this tutorial, we are only focusing on displaying the page count of the Word document, so select the Pages item.

Step 5: After configuring the display of Word page numbers, you will notice a new column titled Pages appearing. The Pages column is responsible for showing the number of pages in the corresponding Word file.

That's it! You've completed the process of displaying the page count (Pages) of the Word file in the folder for easy management and oversight. Hope these helpful tips enhance your productivity at work!
