Once you've inserted a clock into your PowerPoint file, the time will continuously update and display on the slides during your presentation. This enables you to keep track of how long you've been presenting.

1. Inserting Clocks Integrated within PowerPoint
Step 1: While on the open PowerPoint interface, go to the Insert tab as illustrated below:
Next, select Date & Time (Day and Time) as shown below:
Step 2: The Header and Footer interface appears -> check the box next to Date and time -> then select Update automatically to ensure the time updates automatically when you change slides -> next, click the arrow next to the displayed date.
You choose the time display format that suits your needs. Assuming the image below, we're using the third option from the bottom, displaying hours, minutes, and seconds on a 24-hour clock.
You can choose not to display it on the title slide by checking the Don't show on title slide option -> Once you find the selection suitable, click Apply to All to apply it to all slides or choose Apply if you only want to apply it to the current slide you've selected.
Step 3: The result is that you'll see the clock inserted into the slide as depicted below.
You can customize the font, font color, and font size if you wish.
2. Insert Online Flash Clocks for PowerPoint
Step 1: To add different clock templates beyond the basic ones integrated into PowerPoint, visit the address flash-clocks.com/flash-clocks-gallery.html or click HERE
If the interface of the website you've just accessed looks like the image below, you'll need to install Flash for Chrome.
If you see a small window pop up -> then click Allow to enable Flash to run on this website.
Step 2: Next, click on a clock style -> then select HTML Tag Code to retrieve the clock code.
Step 3: Display the HTML embed code. Here, you copy the link from http to swf and paste it into your web browser's address bar, then press Enter.
Then, you save the clock file in flash format to your computer.
Step 4: At this stage, you'll insert the downloaded clock image into your presentation slide. You simply drag the clock onto the slide interface. Next, customize the size and position of the clock on the slide -> and the clock frame will be black as shown in the image below:
When you run the slideshow, the clock time image will be displayed as shown below, and the time will automatically update according to the time set on your computer.
