Activate dark mode on WhatsApp for mobile
Step 1: Open the Whatsapp app on your phone and log in as usual.
Step 2: Tap on the Options with the three dots icon at the top right of the screen. In the dropdown menu, select Settings.
Step 3: In the Settings screen, press the Chat section. In the Chat screen, select Theme.
Step 4: By default, Whatsapp sets the theme to Light. Set the theme back to Dark, then press OK to save the settings.
