Note: Currently, only the Facebook Web platform on desktop allows you to change group settings. You cannot use your phone to activate the post approval feature in groups.
1. How to Enable Post Approval for Posts in Facebook Groups
When you enable post approval mode in a group, you have to manually approve posts entirely. Additionally, you need to use an admin account to activate the post approval feature in the group.
Step 1: Access the group where you want to enable post approval mode with an admin account. Then, select Group Settings.
Step 2: Next, go to Manage Discussion Content and select Edit under Approve all member posts
Step 3: Now, simply toggle on Approve all member posts and press Save to complete the process.
From now on, posts from group members will require approval from Administrators/Content Moderators.
Step 4: To enhance efforts against those who exploit post editing to publish advertisements and spam in the group, you should also enable the Content Editing Approval feature.
Select Approve Edited Content and toggle On to prevent users from exploiting the editing feature to change post content.

For mobile platforms, when a post is uploaded in the group, you will receive a notification. Simply tap on the notification to view the posts that need to be reviewed in the group.
