Steps to Set Up Offline Gaming on Windows 10 Device
Step 1: Check your device's Windows Updates version.
Make sure you have updated Win 10 to the latest version. To check, open MenuStart, type Windows Update, and click on the corresponding search result.
In Windows Update, check if Windows update is not yet up to date by clicking Check for Updates.
Step 2: Setting Up Offline Mode
Firstly, reopen MenuStart and type Store into the search bar to access the Windows Store.
Click on the icon as shown below and proceed to log in to your Windows 10 account (you can use an Outlook account, a Gmail account registered with Outlook, or a Skype account).
Enter your account information correctly and click Sign in to log in.
After successfully logging in, click on your profile and select Settings.
In Settings, you'll find Offline Permissions section, look for the option Make this PC the one I use to run some games or apps that have limited license. Turn On this option.
Once done, your device will be selected as the offline gaming device. Devices previously set up for offline gaming will have this feature turned off.
Next, you'll be prompted to enable the games you want to play offline and sign in to Xbox Live. Repeat this step with each game you want to play offline. From now on, you'll be able to play these games without the need for Internet.
