How to Export Contacts from Yahoo Messenger
Yahoo Messenger contacts can be exported through Yahoo Mail. Therefore, you need to log in to your personal Yahoo Mail account to access the Yahoo Messenger contact list.
Step 1: Log in to Yahoo Mail.
Step 2: On the main interface, click on the address book icon > select Export...
Step 3: A pop-up window will appear, continue to select Yahoo CSV >Export now.
Step 4: Click on the Save File option to save the consolidated contact list from Yahoo Messenger to your computer > Press OK.
Note: You can choose to open the .CSV file with Excel or convert the CSV file at high speed to other formats such as DOC, PDF, XLS, TXT using Total CSV Converter software by clicking on the application name appearing in the Open With section. The image shows Microsoft Excel software.
Step 5: Find the .CSV file you just downloaded by locating the Download icon in your browser. Then click to open it immediately by clicking on the document, or you can also click on the folder icon to open the folder containing the .CSV file.

Step 6: In the downloaded .CSV file, you will see the Messenger column. This is the column that contains the contacts in the Messenger user's address book.
