2. The refrigerator door is left open
Sometimes, when opening the refrigerator to retrieve items, you inadvertently fail to close the door tightly or, worse, forget to close it altogether, allowing outside air to easily infiltrate and create pressure, causing the refrigerator to sweat.
If you notice condensation in the refrigerator and the door is not tightly sealed or completely open, consider that someone in the house may have forgotten to close the door properly.
3. Due to worn-out refrigerator gasket
As mentioned earlier, a poorly sealed refrigerator door is due to user carelessness, but part of the reason is also due to the refrigerator gasket. After prolonged use, the gasket loses its elasticity and no longer seals tightly, resulting in the refrigerator not being properly closed.
Once the refrigerator gasket is damaged or loses elasticity, you need to remedy it immediately by removing the gasket and pouring hot water onto it, then reattaching it. If the situation remains unfavorable or there are some areas that do not seal properly, you can use a hairdryer to heat those parts, then close the refrigerator door and apply duct tape to seal it tightly again, which should resolve the issue within a few hours.
