If you don't have a device with the account logged in, log in to your Facebook account on a device that has been logged in at least once before. Devices that have logged into your Facebook account will not require a Checkpoint, and you will certainly be able to access them to resolve the error.
Step 1: Proceed to open Settings => Privacy & Permissions.

Step 2: Next, select Settings to view account settings.

Step 3: In the Settings section, navigate to Security and Login tab.

Step 4: Now, scroll down to find Two-Factor Authentication section. Choose Edit under Use two-factor authentication.

Step 5: Then, select Use text message (SMS) to secure your Facebook account.

Step 6: To use this feature, you'll use the phone number you used to create your account or you can use another phone number through “Add phone number”.

Step 7: To activate this feature, you'll need to enter the verification code sent by Facebook to your phone number.

Step 8: Once activation is complete, you'll receive a notification “Two-Factor Authentication is enabled” as shown in the image.

Step 9: Now, proceed to log back into your Facebook account on your new phone.
At this point, your account will no longer require Checkpoint; instead, you'll need to enter the code sent to your phone to log in.

Step 10: Currently, Facebook is using personal phone numbers to send verification codes instead of hotline numbers. So, make sure to enter the correct login verification code. Typically, login verification codes will have slashes between the numbers to reduce observation and enhance security.
