To fix IDM's failure to capture links automatically, first, open IDM and check your version by selecting Help ->Check for updates. (You can download the latest version of IDM, as older versions may not support link capture on Google Chrome, Firefox, or the latest Coc Coc browser.

Step 1: Similarly, open your browser and enter chrome://extensions/
Step 2: Open the IDM installation folder and copy the file IDMGCExt.crx to your desktop.
Step 3: Next, drag the file IDMGCExt.crx from your desktop into the Chrome browser.
Step 4: A dialog box will appear, then select Add extension to proceed with the installation.
You can also choose to additionally select Allow in incognito for incognito mode.
Finally, open IDM and reconfigure settings. First, select the Options tab.
In the General section, check the boxes for your browsers, then click OK.
Next, select File types to add music or video file extensions, then press OK to finish.

Step 1: Open Firefox browser, then choose Tools -> Add-ons

Step 3: For computers without IDM CC installed, go to the IDM installation folder and copy the idmmzcc file to the desktop
Step 4: You'll drag the file from this desktop into the Firefox browser
Step 5: Once you've dragged the idmmzcc file into your browser, a dialog box will appear. To proceed with the installation, select Install Now.
