As of now, Windows 10 is the most complete operating system, yet it still encounters minor issues that affect users directly. Method 1: Restarting Windows Explorer
Windows Explorer is a file manager for Windows and often becomes unstable after prolonged use. To get it back on track, simply restart it.
Step 1: To start, press Windows + I to open Settings. Then, enter the keyword 'Troubleshoot settings' to open.
Step 2: Next, scroll down to find Search and Indexing and select Run the troubleshooter to fix issues.
Step 3: Finally, a troubleshooting window will appear. Choose Files don't appear in search results and click Next to start fixing.
Method 3: Fixing Search Bar Issues in Services
Services serve as a manager for active services on Windows, allowing users to intervene in each service individually.
Step 1: Press Windows + R to open the Run window. Then, type 'Services.Msc' to open the Services manager.
Step 2: Next, scroll down to find Windows Search. Double-click to open it. Under the Startup section, choose Automatic (Delayed Start). Once set, click Start and then Apply -> Ok to complete the process.
Step 3: Finally, return and right-click on Windows Search to select Restart.
Method 4: Enable Windows Background App Execution
For some reason, your Windows might have disabled background app execution, which means the system won't run the Search tool in the background.
Step 1: First, press Windows + I to open Settings. Then, type 'Let apps run in the background' to open the settings.
Step 2: Here, activate On for the Let apps run in the background option.
Method 5: Check Antivirus Software
Antivirus software on your computer often operates with high privileges and can directly interfere with suspicious activities. This could lead to your Search tool being blocked by antivirus software. To check this, turn off your computer's antivirus software.
Method 6: Reactivate Windows 10 Search Tool
