Follow the steps below to change the Facebook group name on desktop:
Step 1: After logging into your Facebook account on your computer or Mac, the next step is to click on the name of the group you want to rename. Alternatively, you can quickly access the Shortcuts section (keyboard shortcuts) located in the bottom-left corner of the screen to find the group.
Step 2: Find and click on More (other) located in the bottom-right corner of the group image, then select Edit Group Settings to edit the group settings.
Step 3: Next, click on the box next to Group Name and enter the new name you want to use.
Step 4: Finally, scroll down to the bottom of the screen, click on Save to save the changes.
Your Facebook group name will now be changed to the new name. Facebook will notify other members about the name change.
Method 2: Changing Facebook Group Name on Mobile

Step 1: Open the Facebook app installed on your phone, then find and tap on the menu icon located at the top (or bottom) right corner of the screen, which is the icon with three horizontal lines.

Step 4: Select Name and Description .
Step 5: Select the Group Name box and enter the new name you want to use, once done, click on Save located at the top right corner to finish.
