How to listen to text news on your phone
To listen to text news, download and install the Google app on your phone. It provides vast information and serves as a search tool.
Step 1: Open the Google (1) app after downloading it to your phone.
On Google's main interface, there's a search bar (2) for internet content. You can open news articles by entering the URL into the search bar or by searching for keywords.
Step 2: After finding the article you want to hear, click on the Read (1) icon and select Read now (2).
Step 3: Google will then begin reading the article out loud. The voice quality has been significantly improved, offering a much better listening experience.
Step 4: If Google's reading pace is too fast, you can adjust the speed to match your listening preference.
Select Options (1), go to Reading speed (2) and adjust to your preferred speed.
Step 5: You've now enabled the news reading feature on Google. To turn it off, simply click on the X mark.
