Similar to hiding apps on an iPhone, Xiaomi allows you to hide apps on your phone directly. No need for third-party apps to hide or lock apps. Follow the guide below from Mytour to learn how to hide apps and games on your Xiaomi phone.
How to Hide Apps on Xiaomi Phones
Step 1: On your Xiaomi phone, go to Settings -> Scroll down and select App Lock.
Step 2: If you've previously set up the app lock screen, draw to access. If it's your first time, you'll need to set up the lock screen by drawing characters as your password.
Step 3: After setup, choose Not Now.
Step 4: Look up and select the gear icon to access Settings. Here, scroll down to find Hidden Apps and toggle the switch to the right to activate.
Step 5: After successful activation, the circular switch will turn green. Select the Manage Hidden Apps below.
Step 6: The complete list of apps and games on your Xiaomi phone will appear. Choose the apps containing important images, data, or files you want to hide -> Toggle the switch to the right to activate the hide function -> A notification will appear, choose OK.
Apply the same process to one or the remaining apps on your Xiaomi phone.
