HOW TO HIDE GRIDLINES IN GOOGLE SHEETS
Step 1: Open your spreadsheet in Google Drive, or access it here: Google Sheets
Step 2: Click on the View menu on the toolbar
Step 3: Then click on Gridlines to remove the checkmark.
Step 4: An interesting observation is that when you go to the Print menu on the toolbar, you'll also find an option Show gridlines under the Formatting section. If you haven't followed step 3, you can still adjust whether to display gridlines here.
However, if you've already hidden the gridlines in step 3, setting Show gridlines here won't affect those gridlines. From my personal experience, this could just be an error or something, but it's worth noting.
