Exciting news! Microsoft has revamped the default settings on Skype. In all the latest versions of Skype, including those for computers and mobile devices, IP hiding on Skype is now set as default. So, even if someone knows your Skype username, they won't be able to track your IP address.

To conceal your IP address on Skype, the first step is to open the Skype client and log in, connecting to your account.
Once logged into your Skype, click on Tools from the menu at the top corner of the window as shown below, then select Options.
