How to Insert Watermark and Add Copyright in Word
1. Insert Watermark and Copyright Stamp in Word
Step 1: To insert a Watermark, first, on the Word interface, select the Design tab.
Step 2: Next, navigate to the Watermark section and click on the Custom Watermark option as shown in the image below.
Step 3: The Printed Watermark dialog box appears. Here, users will have two ways to insert Watermark into the content.
- Insert Watermark Using Available Images
Select Picture watermark, then click on Select Picture
The Insert Pictures dialog box appears, you have 2 options to source the image:
+ From a file: Choose an image available on your computer
+ Bing Image Search: Retrieve images via Bing search engine
Depending on your preference, you can source images from various platforms. Here, Mytour opts to use images available on the computer. Once you've made your selection, double-click on the desired watermark image or click Insert to proceed to the next step.
Next, in the Scale section, choose the size for the selected watermark. Finally, click Apply to preview how the watermark will appear in the Word document. In the Washout checkbox, if unchecked, the watermark will be more prominent. If you're satisfied with this method of inserting a watermark in Word, click OK to save.
Finally, your Word document content will have an image watermark inserted as shown below.
- Insert Text Watermark
To choose the method of inserting a text watermark in Word, select the option Text watermark and customize the watermark according to the following sections:
Language: Choose the language for the watermark.
Text: Enter the content for the watermark.
Font: Choose the font for the watermark.
Size: Select the size for the watermark.
Color: Pick the color for the watermark.
Layout: Choose the orientation of the watermark (Diagonal for diagonal style, Horizontal for horizontal style).
