Typically, to livestream on Facebook, you'd need to install Open Broadcaster OBS. However, Facebook now allows users to livestream on their computers using just a webcam, making it much simpler.
How to Live Stream Facebook Videos on Computer Without Installing OBS
Step 1: Log in to your Facebook account. In the status update box, select Live Video to go live on Facebook without installing OBS.
Step 3: Press Next after entering your status.
Step 4: If this is your first time live streaming on Facebook, you'll see a dialog box asking for camera access. Click Allow to grant camera access to Facebook.
Step 5: Facebook will display a small window allowing you to preview content and images so you can adjust your webcam before starting the broadcast optimally. Click Go Live after adjusting to begin live streaming Facebook videos on your computer without installing OBS.
Step 6: After going live, the window displaying your content will also show a Live icon along with the time you've been broadcasting. To end the live stream, you can click Finish at the bottom.
Step 7: After the live video ends, you can click Done to keep the live content or click Delete Video to remove it from your timeline.
