How to make deliciously flavorful fried mackerel with spicy fish sauce, perfect for rice
Ingredients:
- 600g mackerel fish
- Fresh herbs: Lettuce, cilantro...
– 1 cucumber, 2 tomatoes
– Spices: Fresh chili, fish sauce, garlic, white wine, spicy ginger, salt, sugar, MSG, cooking oil

Method for making pan-fried barracuda with fish sauce:
Step 1: Prepare the ingredients
– Clean the barracuda thoroughly, remove all the outer scales. Discard the internal organs, cut off the gills and tail, then make a horizontal incision along the belly of the fish and rinse again with clean water.
– Wash the ginger, then crush and finely chop it. Mix it with white wine, then add the barracuda and squeeze evenly to marinate for about 15 minutes before removing the fish separately.

Step 2: Fry the fish, make fish dipping sauce
- Place a non-stick pan on the stove, add cooking oil and heat it up, then put the fish fillets in to fry. Keep the heat medium. When both sides of the fish are golden brown, take them out onto a plate. You can enhance the presentation by arranging lettuce leaves underneath the fish, placing the crispy fried fish on top, and garnishing with tomato slices and cucumber around the plate.

- Finally, prepare the fish dipping sauce. Mix minced garlic, chopped chili, 2 tablespoons of fish sauce, a little finely chopped ginger, ½ teaspoon of sugar, and a bit of water in a small bowl. Stir well, then add 1 teaspoon of lime juice concentrate, season to taste. Alternatively, if you prefer sweet and sour, you can add tamarind to the dipping sauce to enhance its flavor. That completes the crispy fried fish with fragrant fish dipping sauce, easy to make for your family meal.
