Step 1: Cut gift wrapping paper with dimensions of 40cm x 50cm or you can make it 38cm x 48cm.
Step 2: Fold the paper you just cut into a fan shape like the image below.

* How to make a round paper lantern
Step 1: Cut sturdy cardboard into a circular shape with the desired lantern size. Then fold it in half to divide it into two equal halves. Next, cut additional sheets of colored paper in larger rectangles than the half circular cardboard you cut.
Step 2: Use the rectangular sheet of paper you cut in step one and place it on the white paper, then mark 5 lines on the white paper with two different colored inks. Next, use glue to follow the pink line on the first rectangular paper layer. Place the second paper layer on top, spreading glue along the blue line. Step 3: Next, place a half-circle piece of cardboard on top and trace around it. Cut along the semi-circle shape you just drew as shown below.
Adhere the cardboard piece to one side of the colored paper. With the remaining cardboard, punch a hole in the center and affix it to the other side of the colored paper as depicted.
Step 4: Take a needle and thread to stitch both ends of the cardboard, loosely tie, leaving a section to hang the lantern.
Step 5: Unfold the paper, and you'll have the finished lantern with vibrant colors.
