Step 1: Launch the Air Visual app that you have downloaded and installed above.
Step 2: Immediately, the program will assess the pollution level of your area and provide pollution index measurement results on your phone.
The program will evaluate the pollution level on a scale, for example, as shown above currently in Ha Noi has a pollution index of 194.
* Pollution level measurement scale
- 0-50: Air quality is good with insignificant pollution levels.
- 51-100: Air quality is normal with permissible pollution levels.
- 101-150: Air quality is unhealthy with higher-than-permissible pollution levels, impacting health especially for the elderly and children who should limit outdoor activities.
- 151-200: Air quality is moderately polluted, causing health effects, particularly detrimental to cardiovascular and respiratory health.
- 201-300: Air quality is heavily polluted, posing significant health risks; outdoor activities should be avoided during these times.
- 300+: Air quality is extremely polluted, reaching critical levels that can lead to respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, impair physical activity, and cause various other health issues.
