Stories aren't just for sharing updates, you can also use them to merge photos, combine news... This article will guide you on how to seamlessly merge photos into your Instagram Story.
Step 1: Open the Instagram app on your phone.
Step 2: Once Instagram is open, swipe right to enter Story mode. Now, choose the photo you want to post in your Story by selecting from your Album or capturing a new photo.
Once you've selected the main photo for your Story, swipe up from bottom to top to view the available options in Instagram Story.
As you swipe up to view Story options, you'll encounter 02 photo merge modes as follows:
- Merge Selfie Photos (using created stickers, Selfie photos)
- Merge photos already on your phone
1. Merge Photos into Instagram Story with Selfie mode
Step 1: Choose Selfie Photo mode to enter the photo creation, sticker merging, photo merging mode.
Step 2: Next, capture your Selfie photo to merge into your Story. Along with using the original photo, you can apply available Filters to add more fun.
Step 3: After creating stickers, press Save Stickers (1) for future merges and select Upload (2) to proceed with merging into your Story.
Step 4: While merging photos into your Story, you can use your fingers to adjust as follows:
- One finger: Press and hold to move the merged image
- Two fingers: Pinch to zoom in, zoom out, rotate the merged image
You've now successfully merged selfie photos into your Instagram Story.
2. Merge photos into Instagram Story with library photo mode
If you want to merge multiple photos already on your phone into your Instagram Story, here's what you need to do:
Step 1: Choose the mode to merge photos already in the Album on your phone.
Step 2: Select the photos you want to merge from your phone and edit them to fit. While merging photos into your Story, you can use your fingers to adjust as follows:
- One finger: Press and hold to move the merged image
- Two fingers: Pinch to zoom in, zoom out, rotate the merged image
Step 3: After merging, select Your Story to post on Instagram Story.
Step 4: Congratulations, you've successfully merged photos into your Instagram Story and shared them on social media.
