Step 1: On the main interface after you share your screen, on the toolbar, click on the Manage Participants
Step 2: In the appearing list, select Mute All to mute, turn off the MIC for everyone in Zoom, preventing them from talking or making noise to avoid disrupting the classroom.
Step 3: You'll be prompted with Allow participants to unmute themselves (participants can unmute themselves after being muted). Click Yes to mute, turn off the MIC for all current or new participants in Zoom.
If you wish to undo the feature of muting all participants' MIC in Zoom, simply go to Manage Participants => select Unmute All.
Muting, turning off MIC for all participants in Zoom on mobile is also similar. Just follow the steps above sequentially. During teaching with low, choppy sound quality, optimize the audio quality on Zoom Meeting to the highest level for enhanced effectiveness.
Besides muting, locking mic, you can also set to disallow students from chatting in Zoom to ensure smooth online learning without interruptions.
