Facebook Messenger remains the go-to chat tool for many, but the onslaught of group invites can be overwhelming. While leaving might seem rude, muting isn't always effective. In today's post, discover a clever workaround to quietly sidestep unwanted group chats or messages on Facebook Messenger.
To start, open the Messenger app and locate the pesky group chat you want to bid farewell to. Then, gently swipe from right to left to reveal the hidden menu of that group chat. Next, tap on the triple dash icon.

Next, tap on Ignore Chat, and the group chat will be moved to the Spam messages folder, ensuring you won't receive any messages from them, even if they mention you.

If you wish to re-enable it, simply go to the Spam folder in Messenger and undo the action.

So, that's how you can bypass Messenger group chats. Hope this article helps you in your daily Messenger usage. If you find it useful, don't forget to share it with others and leave a comment below.
