To ensure swift access to essential applications, we often set them to run in the background during Windows startup. However, on a low-configured machine with limited RAM, having applications launch with Windows can lead to slow boot times and laggy performance.

Step 1: Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog, type “msconfig,” and click Ok.
Step 2: The System Configuration dialog appears. Navigate to the Startup tab (1) to review applications launching with Windows. Uncheck (2) the apps you don't want to start with Windows. After disabling unnecessary apps, click Apply and then Ok to confirm the changes.
Step 3: Now, restart your system for the changes to take effect. If you've closed all applications, click Restart (1) for an immediate reboot. If some apps are still open or data needs saving, click Exit without restart (2) to reboot later.
