With this payment method, you can proactively pay your electricity bills through Vietcombank's payment channels without waiting for cashiers to come to collect money or going to pay at collection points as before.
Currently, paying electricity bills through Vietcombank's channels is 100% service fee-free.
How to pay electricity bills with Vietcombank
Method 1: Paying electricity bills at Vietcombank's transaction counters.
Scenario 1: If you don't own a Vietcombank payment card
You can visit Vietcombank's transaction counter, provide your electricity bill number (printed on your monthly electricity bill) to receive assistance from bank staff for payment.
Scenario 2: If you own a payment card at Vietcombank's transaction counter
You can register for automatic debit service at Vietcombank's transaction counter. Afterwards, all your family's electricity and water bills will be automatically paid on your card at regular intervals. Method 2: Paying electricity bills via Vietcombank Internet Banking
If you've already registered for Vietcombank's Internet Banking service, you can proactively pay your electricity bills directly through Vietcombank's electronic banking system.
Conditions: Balance in the payment account > amount due on the electricity bill
Execution Steps
Step 1: Access the VCB - iB@nking system Here. Enter your username, password, and verification code to access the system.
Step 2: Click on 'bill payment' under the 'payment' menu.
Step 3: Select the source account (the account you want to use for electricity bill payment), choose the 'electricity bill' service, select the service provider, enter the customer code. At this point, your family's electricity bill details for the month will be displayed, click 'confirm'.
Step 4: Choose 'OTP receiving method', enter the confirmation code sent from Vietcombank (via SMS or SmartOTP app), press 'confirm' to complete the payment process.
Method 2: Paying electricity bills via Mobile Banking Vietcombank.
If you've registered for Mobile Banking Vietcombank and activated the app on your mobile phone, you can pay electricity bills on the 'Vietcombank' app using the following steps:
Step 1: Access the 'Vietcombank' app, log in with your username, password
Step 2: In the 'financial' tab, select 'bill payment' and choose 'electricity bill'
Step 3: Select the source account, service provider, enter the customer code, and press continue
Step 4: The screen displays detailed electricity bill information for your family in the month, click 'continue'
Step 5: Enter the authentication code (authenticated via SMS or fingerprint), press 'continue' to complete the transaction
With the electricity bill payment service through Vietcombank's channels, you will have more methods to pay your monthly electricity bills instead of traditional payment methods (Paying to cashiers at home, paying at electricity collection points or paying at company offices)
