1. How to Pay Water Bills on ZaloPay
When making payments on ZaloPay, you can easily check your water bills on Zalo, receive payment promotions, and save costs effectively during transactions.
Requirements:
- Downloaded Zalo app and have a Zalo or ZaloPay account. If not the latest version, update here:

How to Pay Water Bills via Zalo Pay:
Step 1: On your phone, access and log in to Zalo. At the bottom of the interface, click the Discover icon (Figure 1). Then, click 'ZaloPay Wallet' (Figure 2).
Step 2: Click 'Pay Bills' (Figure 3). The Bill interface opens, click 'Water' (Figure 4) to pay water bills.
Note: If you have made at least one payment before, bill information will be displayed when you access ZaloPay. You can click 'Pay Now' to make a payment without going to Pay Bills.
Step 3: Swipe the screen and select the appropriate service provider (Figure 5). Then, enter the customer code in the 'Enter customer code' field and click 'Continue' (Figure 6).
Step 4: Click 'Continue' (Figure 7). If the account balance is sufficient or you have already linked with a bank, just double-check the information. If correct, click 'Confirm transaction' (Figure 8).
Note: If you want to change the payment method, click 'Change' at Figure 8 to choose the preferred method.
Step 5: The Promotion interface appears, click the X icon at the top left corner (Figure 9). Now, the successful transaction result notification appears, click 'Close' at the bottom of the interface (Figure 10) to complete the payment.
2. Key Considerations for ZaloPay Water Bill Payments
To ensure a quick, secure, and effective payment process, consider the following:
- Ensure you choose the correct service provider. If incorrect, you won't proceed to the next steps and will have to go back to choose the provider again.
- Enter the correct customer code for water bill payment. Double-check to ensure accurate information before moving on to the next step to minimize errors. Although the amount may be deducted, your water bill may not be paid.
- If the payment due date has not arrived, you won't be able to check and make payments. Wait until the due date to proceed with the payment.
- If ZaloPay is locked or encounters errors during the transaction, contact ZaloPay hotline 1900.545.436 for the best advice and support.
- Is there a fee for paying electricity bills with Zalo Pay? The fee depends on the payment method on ZaloPay. After the free period, a fee of 2,000 VND + 2% of the transaction value will be applied:
+ Paying electricity bills with funds in ZaloPay Wallet, linked domestic ATM card: Free.
+ Paying electricity bills with funds in an internationally linked debit card: Free for the first 5 transactions.
+ Paying electricity bills with funds in a linked credit card: Free for the first 3 transactions.
