Sometimes, you may set a screen lock password but forget it or enter it incorrectly multiple times, leaving you unable to access your device. In such cases, performing a hard reset becomes necessary to regain access.
To perform a Hard Reset on Mobiistar Buddy, you can follow these steps:
(Note: Performing a hard reset will erase all data on the device)
Step 1: You need to power off the device first.
Step 2: Once the device is completely powered off, press and hold both the Power + Volume Down buttons simultaneously.
Step 3: Continue holding until the screen displays several lines of English text, then release all buttons, and do not press any further.
Step 4: Press the Volume Down button to navigate to the Clear eMMC option.
Step 5: Then you press the power button once to initiate the hard reset process. Note that your battery must be above 50% to ensure the reset process is not interrupted.
