Pinning messages in Zalo helps you locate crucial messages swiftly, ensuring rapid dissemination to all group members.
As we all know, Zalo group chats are often flooded with messages due to simultaneous conversations among numerous users. However, you can pin important messages at the top of the group to ensure many can read them if missed, facilitating quick and efficient message retrieval. In this article, Software Tricks will guide you on how to pin messages in group chats on Zalo.
1. How to Pin Zalo Messages on PC
Zalo now offers an official version for computers, providing all features similar to those on the mobile platform. If you haven't installed Zalo for your computer yet, simply visit the official website to download and install it.
Step 1: To pin a message in Zalo, simply click on the Message to reveal extended options and select More => Pin message.
Step 2: Pinned messages will appear in the Pinned list and display at the top of the conversation. You can click on More – Collapse to condense the list or expand it to view.
When clicking on a pinned message, Zalo will automatically navigate to the position of that message in the conversation, allowing you to track all messages within that segment.
Step 3: To unpin a message, simply click on the Options (...) icon next to the message and select Unpin; the message will be unpinned.
Step 4: Confirm Unpin to make room for other messages in the group.
Currently, Zalo groups only support pinning up to 3 messages. If you want to pin additional messages, you'll need to unpin some others.
2. How to pin Zalo messages on your phone
Phones remain the primary platform Zalo focuses on. To pin messages on a phone, the process is similar to that on a computer. Here's how to pin messages on Zalo for phones:
Step 1: Long-press on a message in Zalo to bring up options and tap Pin to pin it.
Once a message is successfully pinned, you'll see it appear at the top of the conversation. By default, only one pinned message is displayed. Tap View more to see all pinned messages.
Step 2: Currently, Zalo groups support pinning up to 3 messages simultaneously. The last pinned message will be displayed by default, while the other two will be in the extended list.
Step 3: To edit pinned messages, simply select Edit and you'll have the option to unpin them. When unpinning messages, the next message will move up to the top, and so on with subsequent messages.
Step 4: To unpin a message, you must confirm Unpin to avoid unintended actions.
Step 5: Additionally, you can also click on Move (1) to change the order of pinned messages. The top message will be displayed outside the main screen. Once you've finished rearranging, click Save pin order (2) to complete.
