How to play the Storm Island trial version

Tencent, one of the most renowned game developers in China, has now opened the doors for players to join the Storm Island trial version, the Alpha Test version of the open-world survival game available for Android and iOS.

Unlike traditional survival games such as PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, and Apex Legends, Storm Island offers a slightly different gameplay. Instead of battling each other, players and their teammates must overcome raging storms, heavy rain, or thunderstorms step by step using any items they find along the way.

To play the Storm Island trial version, you need to install the Taptap app on your phone and allow your device to install games or apps from unknown sources, all of which are harmless to your device.

Step 1: Launch the Taptap app on your Android and iOS phone after successful installation. On the main interface, click the Search icon and enter the keyword Storm Island (Test) => select the correct trial version Storm Island.

Step 2: In the next interface, click on the Try button and then select Continue to agree to the terms and privacy policy of the game publisher in the trial version.

Step 3: Immediately, the system will automatically download Storm Island's trial version. Then, choose Next and Install the game when prompted.

Step 4: Launch the Storm Island trial version Alpha Test, on the starting screen, select the right side button to access the game login section.

Step 5: Storm Island allows players to log in with 2 account types, QQ account or Wechat account. If you don't have an account yet, follow our instructions below to register.
