Recently, the YouTuber released a video showcasing him playing Among Us using the Werewolf Imposter mod. That's right, Werewolf Imposter mod is a new addition to Among Us' list of famous mods.
How to Play Among Us as Werewolves and Imposters
Unlike other Among Us mods, this mod has a twist as it turns impostors into werewolves. Since SSundee posted the video on YouTube, thousands of Among Us fans have been wondering how to experience this mod, and if you're one of them, here's all you need to do.
How to Play Werewolf Imposter in Among Us
When installing this mod, impostors will have the ability to transform into werewolves and have a Transform button on the left side of the screen alongside the Kill and Sabotage buttons. Every 30 seconds, players can choose to transform into a werewolf. This will turn off all lights, reduce the vision of all crewmates, while increasing the vision and movement speed of the impostor cum werewolf.
The Werewolf Impostor also has the ability to see the locations of all crewmates on the mini-map, even when their transformation ability is not active. This allows the impostor werewolf to track crewmates, find them, trap them, use the kill button to eliminate them, and escape the scene without being detected. When the effect wears off, there will be a cooldown period. During that time, the impostor cannot transform.
The game's objective remains unchanged. Crew members must complete all their tasks or find and vote out the werewolves to win, while werewolves must kill each crew member to emerge victorious. Werewolf Impostor can still vent and sabotage as usual.
At the time of writing, the only ones with access to the Werewolf mod are SSundee and his friends. No public download file has been released for other players to download and install. However, because it's still very new, there's always the chance that talented modders will create their own ideal version to share with other fans in the future.
