Ingredients:
Seaweed: approximately 50 grams.
Dried shrimp: about 100 grams.
Fresh ginger: 1 stalk.
Dried garlic: 1 bulb.
Dried shallots: 1 bulb.
Cooking oil: sesame oil or soybean oil

Step-by-step guide to making seaweed soup:
Step 1: Soak the dried seaweed in water to soften and expand it. Then drain the seaweed and transfer it to a bowl, mix with cooking oil (sesame oil) and add other seasonings: about 1/2 teaspoon of seasoning powder.
Note: It's recommended to soak the seaweed in sesame oil for about 15 to 20 minutes to ensure the delicious aroma of sesame oil permeates deeply into the seaweed.

Soak the seaweed soup with water to expand the seaweed
Step 2: For the dried shrimp, soak them in warm water until soft and fragrant. Then, heat a little cooking oil in a pan, sauté some shallots and garlic until fragrant before quickly stir-frying the shrimp on the pan.

Step 3: For the fresh ginger, wash it thoroughly and then slice it thinly or julienne it, or you can even crush it. Next, add the shrimp from step 2 into the pot of water (preferably warm water), and finally add the fresh ginger into the pot. (Fresh ginger is very effective in eliminating the fishy smell of seaweed)

Step 4: Bring the water in step 3 to a boil, then add the soaked seaweed into the pot, and continue boiling for about 6-9 more minutes.
