1. Steps to Delete Your TikTok Account
Step 1: Open the TikTok app on your phone => Tap on the Profile section at the bottom right corner.
Step 2: Tap on the menu (three horizontal lines icon) at the top right corner of the screen => Select Settings and Privacy.
Step 3: Select Account => Choose Deactivate or Delete Account.
Step 4: Finally, click on Delete Your Account Permanently => Choose the reason for deleting your TikTok account => Select Continue.
Step 5: Check the box Before you continue.... delete account to download your TikTok data before deleting your account => Click Continue.
Step 6: Click Continue to proceed to the next step => At this point, TikTok will require verification via SMS or Facebook that you used to sign up for TikTok.
2. Some Notes When Deleting Your TikTok Account
- After deleting your TikTok account, all videos will also be deleted, so make sure to save the ones you need.
- Your TikTok account will be deactivated for 30 days. During this period, you can log in and reactivate your TikTok account.
Your TikTok account will be permanently deleted after 30 days.
