I. How to Disable Weather Display on Windows 11
1. Use Taskbar to Turn Off Weather Display in Win 11
Step 1: Right-click on the Taskbar => select Taskbar settings.
Step 2: Toggle the Widgets switch to Off.
Alternatively, you can use the drag-and-drop method to pin files to the Windows 11 Taskbar for easier access and opening on the main screen.
2. Disable Weather Display using Registry Editor
Step 1: Press the Windows + R key combination, opening the Run dialog in Win 11.
- Type regedit in the Open field => press Enter on the keyboard.
Step 2: Access the path 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft'.
- Right-click on the file Microsoft => choose New => Key and name the folder Dsh.
Step 3: Right-click on the newly created Dsh folder => press New => DWORD (32-bit) Value, rename the new value to AllowNewsAndInterests.
- Click on AllowNewsAndInterests => enter 0 into Value data => OK.
