1. Audio Recording on Windows 7
Step 1: Go to Start => type Recorder => click on the Sound Recorder application.
Step 2: Click on Start Recording to initiate the recording process.
And click on Stop Recording to halt the recording.
Step 3: After stopping the recording, the Save as window appears. Choose the destination to save the file, give it a name, and press Save to store it.
Step 4: Once saved, you can open the recorded file in WMA format and enjoy.
2. Audio Recording without Software on Windows 8/8.1
Step 1: Move your mouse to the right corner of the screen until the utility bar appears. Then, click on the Search icon.
Step 2: Search for the keyword recorder and select the Sound Recorder application.
Step 3: Press Start Recording to initiate the recording process.
To stop recording, simply click on Stop Recording.
Step 4: After stopping the recording, the Save as window will appear. Choose the location to save the audio file, name it, and click Save to store it.
Step 5: Once the audio file is saved, you can locate and open it to listen.
3. Audio Recording without Software on Windows 10
Step 1: Open Search => search with the keyword record => choose the Voice Recorder app.
Step 2: The app will request access to your microphone; click Yes to grant permission.
Step 3: To start recording, click on the green recording icon in the middle of the app screen.
Afterward, the recording clock starts running, and the recording process takes place. To stop recording, click on the Stop icon in the middle.
Step 4: Your recording will be listed within the app. To replay the recording, click on the Play button inside the app.
