- To avoid data loss or inability to recover, choose a partition separate from the one where the file was deleted. For example, if the data to be recovered is on drive D:, save it on drive C or E. For important data, use an additional storage device such as USB, external hard drive, or another hard drive to store the recovery data. This ensures both data safety and faster recovery speed due to independent read and write processes on two different devices. This note applies to all data recovery software.
