Registering for a VietNam Post account (also known as VNPost) is divided into two categories: Individual and Organization. Each category has a different registration process. Therefore, it's important to carefully select the registration category to create a suitable VietNam Post account.

How to Register for a VNPost Account for Individuals
When registering for VNPost for individuals, follow these steps:
- Step 1: Access the VietNamPost registration link HERE. Look under the 'Account Registration' section, if the 'Individual' part is orange, you can skip clicking and move on to step 2.
- Step 2: You fill in the required and accurate information in each field as per the provided system.
This includes the following information:
* Account Information
- Account Name: You can write any name, including phone number, email... but make sure this account name doesn't match any previously registered names on the VNPost website. If it matches, you need to choose a different name.
* Personal Information
- Full Name: Write your full name as per your ID.
- Email: Enter your email address. Make sure it's accurate for the system to send messages.
- Gender: Choose your gender. If you're male, select male.
+ Click on your birth year (Figure 4). Then, select your birth month (Figure 5), and finally, choose the day (Figure 6) to complete your date of birth selection.
- Permanent address
+ Province/City: Click and select the city where you reside.
+ District: Click and choose your permanent district.
+ Ward/Commune: Click and select your ward/commune as stated in your birth certificate/ID card.
+ Detailed address: Enter your house number, alley, street... according to your birth certificate/ID card.

- Account activation method: Click and choose the appropriate method.
- Multi-factor authentication: Click and choose the authentication method.
- Enter verification code: Enter the code in the adjacent box.
- Step 3: Click on the small square box 'By clicking Register, you agree to the Terms...' and then enter 'Register'.
- Step 4: At this point, the system will send a code to your phone, open it and enter 'Enter OTP code' then click 'Activate'.
- Step 5: The system will send the login password to your email. Access the email you provided in step 2 to retrieve the password. Then, return to the login page by accessing the homepage HERE and click on the 'Login' text in the top right corner of the screen.
- Step 6: You enter your account name and password into the boxes, then click the 'Login' text as shown below.
- Step 7: You enter a new password in the box to activate your account. Remember to enter the new password twice and the passwords must match, it should be 8 characters long and contain special characters. Then, click 'Send information'.
Note: After registering and activating your account, you need to be verified and wait for approval in the system:
- Postal employees will verify your account. To facilitate the verification process, you need to provide a valid ID card/driver's license.
- After verification, postal employees will approve it in the system, transfer documents to the verifier. Once your account is approved, you can avail all services with your PostID account.
- Postal employees will return your documents and registration form with stamps and signatures.
For registering a Vietnam Post account for organizations, you follow the same steps as individual registration but instead of selecting 'Individual', you need to choose 'Organization' before proceeding with registration.
