Method 3: Registering for BIDV SmartBanking Online on your phone
This method applies to customers currently using BIDV Online/BankPlus, who have successfully downloaded and installed the BIDV SmartBanking app on their phone/tablet.
Step 1: Open BIDV Smart Banking on your phone to begin using this app. If you haven't installed it yet, install BIDV Smart Banking by downloading the app from the link below:
- Download BIDV Smart Banking for Android HERE.
- Download BIDV Smart Banking for iPhone HERE.
Step 2: On the main interface, select the Online Registration function on the login screen.
Step 3: Fill in the authentication information through the service:
- Choose either BIDV Online service or the Bankplus service you're using.
- Enter your BIDV Online service username/registered Bankplus phone number.
- Enter your BIDV Online service password/Bankplus service PIN.
- Enter the verification code.
Step 4: Next, enter the OTP Authentication Code sent to the phone number you registered with BIDV Online/Bankplus service -> click Continue to proceed to the next step.
Step 5: Then, input the Service Registration Information including:
- Username (select from the list of mobile phone numbers you registered with BIDV),
- OTP receiving phone number,
- Service usage fee account,
- Enter Email,
After inputting, click on Register.
Step 6: Upon successful registration, you will see a Registration Successful notification as described in the image below. You should first log in using the password sent via SMS to the OTP receiving phone number, then change the password to ensure security.
Notes when registering for BIDV Smart Banking
- The main interface of BIDV Smart Banking, if you haven't logged in before, will have an Online Registration button to perform registration as just instructed above. If you have successfully logged into BIDV Smart Banking before, the login screen will not display the Online Registration button.
- BIDV Smart Banking will automatically lock the Online Registration feature on your device for 3 days in the following cases:
+ Incorrectly enter the CAPTCHA code more than 10 times on the authentication information input screen of BIDV Online/Bankplus service of the Online Registration function.
+ Incorrectly enter BIDV Online/Bankplus service information more than 5 times on the authentication information input screen of BIDV Online/Bankplus service of the Online Registration function.
