How to Register for Zalo: New Zalo Registration Process, Creating a Zalo Account on Computer or Phone

Zalo is a social network attracting a large number of users. Similar to Facebook, Zalo can be integrated on various operating systems including iOS, Android, and even on computers for convenient usage. However, to use Zalo, the first step is to register for a Zalo account. Simply having a phone number not yet registered with a Zalo account allows you to create an account easily.

How to Register, Create a Zalo Account on Computer, Phone

Things to Note Before Registering for a Zalo Account:
- You need a phone number that is not yet registered with a Zalo account.
- Download and install the Zalo app on your device.

1. How to register for Zalo on computer

- Step 1: Download and install the Zalo app on your computer

- Step 2: After installing Zalo on your computer, open Zalo. Then, at the bottom of the interface, click on 'Register' (Image 1). In the Phone number field, enter the phone number you want to register for your Zalo account (Image 2).

- Step 3: Next, click on the 'Register' button in green (Image 3). Zalo will display a notification, check your phone number, then click on the 'Confirm' text (Image 4).

- Step 4: Now, Zalo will send a confirmation code via SMS to the phone number you registered. Open it and enter the confirmation code into the Enter activation code field (Image 5) (If you do not receive the code, click on Resend code below the confirmation text to retrieve the code). Then, click on the 'Confirm' button in green (Image 6).

- In Step 9: Click on the word 'Log out' (Figure 11) to proceed.

- Step 10: Now, input your password into the New Password field and re-enter it into the Confirm New Password field (Figure 12).

- Step 11: Click on the word 'Update' to finish. Next time, when logging into Zalo, simply enter your phone number and the password you just created (Figure 13).

2. Registering Zalo on iPhone, Android phones

Before signing up for a Zalo account on Android or iOS, you need to download and install the Zalo app on your phone:

=> Download Zalo for iPhone

Step 1: Once you have downloaded and installed the Zalo app on your device, proceed to launch the Zalo app. On the app's startup interface, select 'Sign up' (Figure 1). Then, enter your username in the field above the interface and proceed to click on the arrow icon at the bottom right corner (Figure 2).

Step 2: In the Phone number field, enter the phone number you want to register for Zalo and look at the bottom right corner, click on the arrow icon to switch to another interface (Figure 3). Now, Zalo will display a confirmation message, you check if the phone number you entered is correct, if it is correct, click on 'Confirm' then click on the green arrow icon in the bottom right corner (Figure 4).

Step 3: Zalo will call you, answer the call to listen to the code and enter the code into the field (Figure 5). Zalo switches to the Date of birth and gender interface, you select the appropriate gender and date of birth. Then, you click on the green arrow icon in the bottom right corner of the screen (Figure 6).

Note: If you are using the phone number you are registering with, when Zalo calls to send the code, it will automatically enter and switch to the next interface.

Step 4: To update your profile picture for your Zalo account, click on 'Choose photo' (Figure 7). If you want to use an existing photo, select 'Choose from gallery' (Figure 8).

Step 5: You select the photo you want to use as your Zalo avatar (Figure 9). Click on the image area and swipe the screen to adjust your avatar. Then, click on 'done' (Figure 10). 

Step 6: Zalo will notify you 'Profile picture updated successfully', look at the bottom right corner to click on the green arrow icon (Figure 11). Now, you will log into your newly created Zalo account (Figure 12)

Step 7: Since you just registered, you haven't created a password yet, so to create a password, look at the bottom right corner and click on the icon with four small squares (Figure 13). Then, click on the cogwheel icon in the top right corner (Figure 14). 

Step 8: Zalo will display the Settings interface, you scroll down, find the Log out section and click on it (Figure 15). Now, you enter your Zalo password as requested by the system and click 'Update' (Figure 16). That's it, you have successfully registered for a Zalo account.
