I've recently purchased a Lumia phone and to prevent any unfortunate incidents of loss, could someone please instruct me on setting up to locate a lost Lumia phone? Thank you.

To set up locating a lost Lumia phone, first follow the steps provided below. In case you happen to forget or lose your phone, you can use a computer to track its location.
Step 1: Access the Settings section on your Lumia phone.
Step 2: Proceed to select Find My Phone.
Step 3: Activate the Find My Phone feature by sliding the switch to On.
Step 4: On your computer, visit the website http://account.microsoft.com/devices, then log in with your Microsoft account.
Note: You must log in with a Microsoft account that matches the one logged into your Lumia phone.
Step 5: Tap on the Find My Phone section.
Step 6: Wait a moment and your phone will be successfully located. The location of your Lumia phone will be displayed on the map. Meanwhile, you can also choose functions such as Ring, Lock, or Erase as needed.
