Winrar is renowned for its top-notch compression and decompression capabilities, widely regarded as the best in the present day, and is trusted and used by many users. Due to its large user base, the application continuously evolves, changing the Winrar interface, and adding many new and modern themes. However, there's a certain number of users who still cherish the old interface of this software, and the company has responded to users' desires to support the transition of Winrar interface to classic default with fairly simple steps.

Guide to Switching Winrar Interface to Classic Default
If you haven't installed Winrar yet, you can download the latest version of Winrar here to use.
To revert to the classic Winrar interface of the previous version, follow these steps:
Once downloaded, you'll find the downloaded file in .zip format. Simply unzip it to find 2 .rar files inside:
- File WinRAR_Classic_24x24.theme.rar
- File WinRAR_Classic_48x36.theme.rar
Step 2: These two files have standard icon sizes corresponding to 24x24 and the current default is 48x36.
To install the interface switch, double-click on one file to start the installation of the interface -> you'll be prompted whether you want to install this interface -> Click Yes to confirm.
A successful installation interface will display a notification as shown below -> Click OK to finish.
The image above indicates you've installed the 24x24 size interface. The remaining file is the 48x36 interface with larger classic icons -> You also perform the installation similarly as above.
Step 3: At this step, open the Winrar software -> select Options -> Choose Interface -> then select the classic interface you just installed.
And the result is Winrar has returned to the old interface (the image below shows with 24x24 icons).
To return to the current default interface -> you repeat the steps in the Options section as above -> then select Default Interface -> The software will return to the current default interface you're using.
Besides switching Winrar interface back to classic default as above, you can also change the interface in Winrar with other interfaces quite easily. There are currently hundreds of interfaces, even more for you to choose from. The interface you want to change to could be cute interfaces, lovely interfaces... isn't that amazing?
